Terms Of Booking
Bookings and Cancellations
A. Disco Kids will require a non-refundable deposit to confirm the holding of your booking. This will be subtracted from your final balance which will be payable to the entertainer on the day of the party.
B. A contract will be issued between Disco Kids and the client on payment of the deposit to secure the booking (£50)
Disco Kids will endeavour to amend bookings where possible, and your deposit can be put towards a new date for up to 12 months.
C Should you wish to cancel your booking we are unable to offer a refund on your deposit. This is due to potentially turning other business away due to your reservation of date and time.
D. In the event your booking is cancelled by Disco Kids, you will receive a full refund of your deposit paid to Disco Kids In the case of bad weather we will always do our best to make sure we can attend your party. If our entertainer is unable to get to the venue, the chances are, the guests wouldn't be able to either. On this very rare occasion, we will offer the opportunity for a re-arranged date and time to complete the booking.
E. In the event of an emergency on the day of your booking, please call the emergency line on 07590643990.
F: Dates can usually only be held for 48 hours from the date of enquiry this is due to the popular demand for parties.
A. Disco Kids operate certain time slots for the morning & afternoon. This is to allow the opportunity to have two bookings in a day. Disco Kids do not offer a start time of 12:30pm, 1pm or 1.30pm this is due to the restriction of fitting in another booking either side of these times. Should you wish a start time of a supplement of £45 may be added to the booking to compensate.
Once you have decided to go ahead, we will ask for your email address and forward details of how to pay deposit. Once received a booking confirmation will be issued with all the party details. Booking is only confirmed once the deposit payment has been made.
Deposit is to be paid via BACs and the remaining balance must be made in cash to the entertainer on the day of the booking.
A. It is the clients' responsibility to ensure the venue is compliant with the Health and Safety regulations and all relevant procedures are in place and fit for use. All outside situations (marquees, outbuildings etc.) must be dry, undercover and safe for electrical use.
B. Please find out from your venue about any sound limitations and confirm use of machines prior to booking. (Smoke machines can be an issue) If any restrictions are in place, you must make Disco Kids aware at least 24 hours prior to the date of the booking. If Disco Kids Ltd have not been informed, in writing, we will not take any responsibility for any further charges by the venue.
C. Entertainer will arrive at your venue at least 30 minutes before the party is due to start along with leaving 30 minutes after the party has ended. It is essential this is taken into consideration when booking your venue to account for the time before and after the party.
D Teen Laser Disco/UV Glow Party require come with additional equipment require 45 minutes set up
E. It is required at the time of booking to advise on the parking facilities. Should parking be payable or not on site and we have not been made aware this could cause a delay in set up time.
E. If the venue is upstairs or downstairs this also must be advised at the time of booking.
Insurance & Equipment
Disco Kids have in date Public Liability Insurance & All electrical equipment will have up to date PAT Tests.
Disco Kids have variety of music, including all the latest songs, party songs and everything you need to get the party going. Please notify us at the time of booking or at least 2 days before the party of any requests to ensure our DJ/Entertainer has them on the day.
Entertainers travel throughout Hertfordshire & Bedfordshire parts of Buckinghamshire & North London. We can travel further afield at an additional cost*
Disco Kids is an Children's Entertainment service, we provide the entertainment as a Disco party with games, along with sweets, stickers & prizes. Entertainer will host the cake ceremony (cake supplied by you).
